Job summary

Margaritaville Resort and Casino is seeking a supervisory guest services professional to oversee nightly operations and ensure the highest levels of customer service for all guests. The role emphasizes leadership, accurate cash handling, and cross-department coordination on a high-energy casino-hotel floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Runs nightly reports to reset the system for next day operations.
• Check s in and check s out guests while providing the highest level of customer service possible.
• Maintain an operating bank and process cash, credit, and comps with proper authorization.
• Post charges, settle folios, groups, and due outs; communicate with Supervisor and Housekeeping.
• Handle guest problems or complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel, casino, outlet, and community events; take direction well.
• Answers, records, and processes all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns.
• Influence guest experience positively and take ownership of service quality.
• Coordinate with appropriate departments to resolve guest requests.
• Review shift logs and memos and document pertinent information.
• Assist hotel manager in unique situations as needed.
• Greet and acknowledge ALL guests per Margaritaville standards (including non-hotel guests).
• Follow all company policies and procedures; maintain a professional appearance.
• Communicate professionally and prepare/review written documents accurately.
• Build positive working relationships with team members, management, and staff.
• Assist additional hotel departments as needed.

• Maintains an operating bank. This includes receiving cash, credit cards, and comps in payment. Must obtain proper authorization.
• Responsible for posting charges, settling folios, groups, and due outs. Maintains proper communication with Supervisor and Housekeeping.
• Handles guest problems or complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to take direction.
• Maintains knowledge of hotel, casino, outlet, and community events.
• Answers, records, and processes all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns.
• Assumes ownership of positively influencing the guest experience.
• Contacts appropriate individuals or departments as necessary to resolve customer’s requests.
• Reviews shift logs and memos and documents pertinent information.
• Recruits assistance of hotel manager in unique situations.
• Welcomes and acknowledges ALL guests according to standards set forth by Margaritaville Resort and Casino (This includes non-hotel guests).
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Must maintain a professional and clean appearance.
• Speaks with others in professional language and can prepare and review written documents completely.
• Maintains and develops a positive working relationship with fellow team members, management, and executive staff.
• Assists additional hotel departments as needed.

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.

Language Skills

• Fluent English language skills, both verbal and in writing.
• A second language is not required but is an advantage.

Other Skills and Abilities

• Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per local, state, federal, and gaming regulations.
• Good keyboard skills and proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
