Job summary

Atlanta Marriott Northeast/Emory Area is seeking a Night Auditor to manage overnight front desk operations and ensure accurate daily financial reporting. You will assist guests with late check-ins, reconcile the day’s transactions, and prepare reports for management, in a quiet overnight setting.

Ideal candidates are organized, trustworthy, and capable of working independently. Hotel experience is a plus, with flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1 year hotel experience.
• Previous experience in a similar or related position is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Be the key to financial accuracy during overnight hours; ensure all transactions are recorded and reconciled.
• Audit guest accounts, process night audit reports, and assist with guest check-ins/outs.
• Report to the Front Office Manager or Director of Finance/Controller.
• Explore career progression within hospitality, including roles in front office or hotel accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be the key to our hotel's financial accuracy during the overnight hours, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled correctly.
• Your daily tasks will include auditing guest accounts, processing night audit reports, and assisting with guest check-ins and checkouts.
• You will report to the Front Office Manager or Director of Finance/Controller.
• A career as a night auditor can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry, such as front office supervisor, front office manager, or even a position in hotel accounting or finance.

Education & Experience

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:

• A high school diploma, a GED, or one year of hotel experience
• Previous experience in a similar or related position
• A combination of education and experience
