Job summary

HVMG - Hospitality Ventures Management Group is seeking a detail-oriented Night Auditor to manage overnight front desk operations at our Atlanta-area property. You will reconcile daily transactions, audit guest accounts, and prepare standard financial reports for the Front Office Manager.

Ideal candidates are organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a quiet overnight setting. Hotel experience is a plus, with opportunities for growth within our nationwide portfolio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or one year of hotel experience required.
• Previous experience in a similar or related position is preferred.
• A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Audit guest accounts and reconcile day’s transactions during overnight hours.
• Process night audit reports and ensure financial accuracy.
• Assist with guest check-ins and checkouts as needed.
• Report to the Front Office Manager or Director of Finance/Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be the key to our hotel's financial accuracy during the overnight hours, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled correctly.
• Your daily tasks will include auditing guest accounts, processing night audit reports, and assisting with guest check-ins and checkouts.
• You will report to the Front Office Manager or Director of Finance/Controller.
• A career as a night auditor can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry, such as front office supervisor, front office manager, or even a position in hotel accounting or finance.

Education & Experience

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:

• A high school diploma, a GED, or one year of hotel experience
• Previous experience in a similar or related position
• A combination of education and experience
