Overview: The Night Auditor reconciles hotel cashier transactions, reviews and compiles management reports, and ensures guest billing accuracy. Responsibilities include communicating with management and performing guest service duties such as check-in, check-out, switchboard operation, and reservations.

Responsibilities:

• Understand financial data and perform basic arithmetic.
• Cross-train in other hotel-related areas.
• Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Perform guest services (check-in/out, reservations, call handling).
• Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports.
• Prepare daily and month-end reports.
• Audit cashier work and credit card transactions.
• Ensure accuracy of reports and data entry.
• Communicate operational or financial issues to management.
• Maintain guest satisfaction and handle guest requests.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or one year of hotel or related experience.
• Guest service experience preferred.
• Computer skills required.
• Flexible with hours, including late/overnight shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Attend required meetings and maintain attendance standards.
