Job summary

The Peacock Inn, a boutique luxury hotel in downtown Princeton, NJ, is seeking a Night Audit Front Desk Agent. This full-time role requires working week and weekend nights, and holiday nights, with a focus on seamless guest service and operational efficiency.

As part of Genesis Hospitality, you will coordinate with booking, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure guest needs are met and events run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with booking, housekeeping, and maintenance to respond to guests’ needs.
• Make reservations or appointments for local entertainment or services.
• Answer guest calls and record details for follow-up.
• Meet and exceed guests’ expectations by anticipating services and suggesting venues.
• Coordinate with events (weddings, corporate retreats) for in-house occasions.
• Report accidents or injuries to senior management.
• Take reservations, handle inquiries, relay leads to Event Coordinator, assist in restaurant hosting, and other duties as assigned.
• Set up coffee tables and morning amenities for guests.
• Maintain tidy restaurant area for guests.

The Peacock Inn, a boutique upscale restaurant, is seeking an experienced and team-oriented candidate for the Night Audit Front Desk Agent position. Candidate must have genuine interest in elite hospitality and be willing to work week and weekend nights and/or holiday nights. This is a Full Time position.

Essential Functions

• Communicate with the booking, housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure prompt responses to guests’ needs
• Make reservations or appointments for guests who want to avail themselves of local entertainment or services
• Answer guest calls and record details of each conversation for future follow-up
• Meet and exceed guests’ expectations by anticipating the services they might require and suggesting local venues
• Maintain constant communication with guests in advance of weddings, corporate retreats and other in-house events to ensure we’re prepared for them
• Report any accidents or injuries to senior management staff immediately
• Taking reservations, answering inquiries, communicating leads to Event Coordinator, hosting the restaurant, reporting, and any additional duties as assigned by the Hotel Manager.
• Arranging coffee table and all accompaniments for morning guests.
• Ensuring restaurant area is tidy and in acceptable appearance for all guests.
