• Conduct pre-admission assessments to determine level of care and communicate disposition.
• Collaborate with medical/psychiatric staff to plan admissions and care.
• Perform insurance benefit verifications and obtain initial pre-authorization.
• Monitor patient status and ensure documentation supports payor authorization.
• Use web-based systems to track referrals and communicate admissions status.
