Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in the assigned setting. You will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes, educate patients and families, and assist with procedures as needed.

The successful candidate will hold RN licensure, maintain BLS certification within 14 days of hire, and demonstrate strong computer literacy. ACLS/PALS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN licensure required; BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Computer literacy required.
• ACLS/PALS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care in the assigned care setting.
• Communicates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Administers medications as prescribed with knowledge of order and safety.
• Educates patients and families, interpreting learning needs and outcomes.
• Assists physicians with procedures and uses nursing knowledge to perform treatments.
• Collaborates with the care team to plan and coordinate discharge needs.
• Maintains patient safety and cost-effective practices.
