Qualifications

• TSA-issued TWIC required for this role.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and port personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicle authorization, and visitor entry requirements.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, contractors, vendors, and vehicles, maintain access logs.
• Respond to incidents and escalation protocols in a calm, solution-focused manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
