This role creates a welcoming atmosphere, maintains a clean and organized bar, ensures responsible alcohol service, and contributes to an outstanding guest experience while supporting overall food and beverage operations.# What You Will Accomplish**Key Responsibilities*** Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, professional, and attentive service.* Engage with guests to create a welcoming and enjoyable bar experience.* Make beverage recommendations based on guest preferences* Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally* Maintain a high level of hospitality and service excellence at all times* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes, specifications, and presentation standards* Demonstrate knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and specialty beverages* Verify guest age and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations* Accurately ring in orders and process payments through the POS system.* Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible beverage service* Prepare garnishes, mixers, and ingredients needed for daily operations* Serve bar guests and support restaurant servers with beverage orders* Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar area, equipment, and service stations* Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and supplies as needed* Conduct opening, closing, and side work duties according to established procedures* Assist with inventory counts and report low-stock items to management.* Properly handle cash, credit card transactions, and guest checks.* Ensure all bar equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance issues* Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines**What You Will Bring****Qualifications*** High school diploma or equivalent preferred* Previous bartending experience preferred* Knowledge of cocktail preparation, wine, beer, and spirits* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills* Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment* Basic math and cash-handling skills* Experience with POS systems preferred* Alcohol service certification and food handler certification as required by local regulations* Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays**Physical Requirements*** Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.* Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds* Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and repetitive hand movements* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to glassware, ice, and beverage equipment
