Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical terminology to maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical and secretarial duties on the unit and maintains patient records.
• Responds to telephone messages and coordinates patient information with staff.
• Assists with patient flow, unit rounding, and visitor security; maintains EMR accuracy.
• Coordinates patient transport and discharge to home or external facilities; orders supplies.
• Supports Environmental Services coordination and maintains equipment as needed.
