Job summary
Mercy invites newly graduated nurses to its 16-week NICU Residency in St. Louis, MO. You will receive dedicated preceptor support, hands-on neonatal training, and ongoing development after residency completion.
Work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a Level IV NICU, gaining exposure to advanced therapies and critical care. Mercy provides day-one benefits including medical, dental, vision, tuition support, and retirement plans.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
- New graduate RN or graduating within 12 months.
- Current Missouri RN license or compact RN license, or eligible for licensure within 90 days.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Previous healthcare or patient care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Care for extremely premature infants and surgical neonates in a Level IV NICU.
- Assist with advanced respiratory support and complex medications.
- Collaborate with neonatologists, NPs, therapists, pharmacists, and lactation consultants.
- Provide family education and support during prolonged hospital stays.
