Job summary

Virtua Medical Group in Voorhees, NJ is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a part-time per diem night shift (7p–7a). A graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid NJ RN license is required, with Level II NICU experience preferred.

The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, coordinate with the care team, educate families, and uphold safety and ethical standards while managing evolving clinical situations.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid NJ RN license required.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient, develop and evaluate a plan of care.
• Administer and monitor therapies and document interventions.
• Manage rapid changes and participate in clinical decisions.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and safety.
• Delegate and supervise care by team members while ensuring safety.
• Participate in orientation and performance improvement activities.
