Job summary

You will work with the unit team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care based on patient-centered goals, collaborating with families and other healthcare professionals.

Rotating shifts with 36 weekly hours, the role offers a sign-on bonus up to $15,000. Iowa RN license and NICU experience are preferred, with a strong emphasis on compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• RN license in Iowa or compact state required.
• NICU experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clinically relevant information during handoffs to patients, families and staff.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care per patient care plan.
• Document nursing care accurately and in real time.
• Provide guidance to licensed and unlicensed staff; lead as assigned.
• Educate patients and families with age-appropriate information.
