Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time registered nurse with NICU experience to join our Oshkosh unit. The role involves applying nursing processes, collaborating with the care team, and delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; active RN license with multi-state or single-state privileges. BSN preferred; BLS required. You will contribute to safety, quality initiatives and maintain accurate EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN provides client nursing services.
• BSN preferred; ongoing professional development is valued.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit governance, quality initiatives and evidence-based care improvements.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate patient care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans and collaborates with the care team to improve outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety and accurate documentation in the EHR.
• May administer medications and therapies according to clinical protocols and procedures.
• Demonstrates effective communication, teamwork and appropriate delegation within the care team.
