Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County Hospital in Middleburg, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night Shift (PRN). This role delivers high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective treatment.

You’ll implement care plans, document progress, administer orders, and help coordinate discharge planning. Florida RN licensure and BLS are required with STABLE certification preferred to support ongoing clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire or transfer date.
• Registered Nurse licensed by the Florida Board of Nursing.
• STABLE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by following established clinical standards and evidence-based protocols.
• Drive the implementation of patient care plans, pro-actively monitoring status and documenting progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Act as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary teams, facilitating seamless communication and well-integrated treatment.
• Execute physician and nursing orders with precision, serving as a critical link in the clinical decision-making process.
• Lead the discharge planning process in collaboration with the health-care team to ensure a safe and successful transition for every patient.
