Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence in El Paso, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the NICU unit. The RN will provide direct clinical care to neonates, assess and plan care per shift, and support staff to deliver high-quality nursing services.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, with BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable. Acute care experience preferred; full-time day shift with opportunities for professional development and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Recent acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical patient care per shift.
• Assesses, plans, implements nursing care for assigned patients.
• Supervises staff to whom care is delegated.
• Administers medications safely following hospital policy.
• Follows hospital emergency codes and participates in disaster response as needed.
