Job summary

Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, TX is looking for a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the NICU. You will apply the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and advocate for patients and families while upholding the hospital’s standards of practice.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, Texas RN license (or compact) within 90 days, BLS/NRP certifications, and at least 1 year of NICU experience in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or bachelor degree nursing program.
• Current Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact license (obtain TX RN license within 90 days).
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS/BCLS certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Responsibilities
