Job summary

Jobtome is seeking a Level 3 NICU experienced registered nurse. You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, coordinating with the healthcare team, patients and families, while upholding high professional ethics.

The role requires Level 3 NICU experience, NJ RN license and strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills. You will lead care for critically ill newborns, document interventions, and participate in safety and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must have NJ RN License and maintain per licensure board.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and develop, implement and evaluate a plan of care.
• Administer and document therapeutic interventions and regimes.
• Manage rapidly changing situations and participate in clinical decision-making.
• Educate patient and family regarding disease process, care needs, wellness and safety.
• Delegate and monitor care rendered by the nursing team.
• Demonstrate standard precautions and patient safety principles.
• Participate in orientation, education and development of healthcare team.
• Identify and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Maintain professional and departmental competencies.
