Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) in Charleston, SC is hiring a Registered Nurse II for the NICU. This full-time position offers 36 hours per week, with a schedule of 3 twelve-hour shifts and some weekends.

Under general supervision, you will provide individualized, goal-directed patient care within the nursing process and collaborate with the health care team. Requirements include a Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred, or an Associate/Diploma with enrollment in a BSN program

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred; or RN with Associate/Diploma enrolled in BSN within two years.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience required.
• Licensure as RN by SC Board of Nursing or compact state; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, effective care and interact with the healthcare team to achieve results.
• Work in the NICU/unit setting with neonatal patients and families.
