Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains current State of Alabama RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
• 1 year experience required unless approved by AVP level or above.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and develops an individualized plan of care.
• Respects diversity and collaborates with the team to ensure patient-centered care.
• Acts as a patient and family advocate.
• Delivers care appropriate to patient age across units/departments.
• Communicates with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Documents care accurately meeting regulatory standards.
• Participates in staff development and nursing leadership activities.
• Travels as needed for Hospital Care at Home programs.
