Job summary

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted TX RN license.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• PALS or NRP and specialty certifications per unit guidelines.
• 5+ years of NICU experience.
• 1 year of direct nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver competent, individualized nursing care to NICU patients and families.
• Use the nursing process to augment the medical treatment plan.
• Collaborate with the team to address unit acuity and patient needs.
• Maintain safety and professional communication throughout care.
• Advocate for patients and families within the designated unit.
