Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to sick or premature newborns in the NICU.
• Monitor newborn vitals, airway, perfusion and nutrition.
• Collaborate with neonatal team to implement care plans.

As a NICU RN, you'll work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to provide care for newborns that are either sick or premature. NICU RNs specialize in medical care for newborns at a variety of levels, from intensive, life-saving measures to rehabilitation and nourishment, so you must be well-versed in infant care.

Basic travel nursing requirements include:

• 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care
• Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
• Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specificfacility/unit
• An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help
