Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, CA, seeks a NICU Respiratory Therapist for per diem night shifts to deliver specialized neonatal respiratory care.

The candidate must hold a California RCP license and NBRC RRT credentials, plus BLS and NRP, with at least 3 years of acute NICU experience. Responsibilities include ventilation management, airway care, and collaborating with the NICU team.

Formación

• Current California RCP license
• NBRC-registered RRT
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Minimum 3 years acute care experience including NICU
• Intubation certification within 90 days of hire
• Graduate of AMA therapist program (2–4 years) or equivalent

Responsabilidades

• Provide NICU respiratory care including ventilation management and pharmacologic administration
• Maintain regulatory compliance and documentation
• Collaborate with NICU team and other caregivers
• Respond to emergencies and attend high-risk deliveries and NICU events
• Maintain equipment and perform quality control of NICU respiratory devices
• Mentor staff and participate in orientation/training as needed
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and handoffs during shift changes
• Support safe patient transport to and from off-site locations
