Job summary

Piedmont Eastside in Snellville, GA seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to support NICU and adult ICUs. This PRN role covers both neonatal and critical care respiratory services, including vent management and patient/family education.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in respiratory therapy, NBRC-registered and GA-licensed, with current BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications. Cross-training opportunities are available within a 50-member team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory therapy required.
• Registered by NBRC and state license in GA required.
• Current BCLS, ACLS and NRP certifications; neonatal care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and respiratory care procedures in adult and neonatal areas.
• Administers newborn respiratory care in Labor and Delivery and NICU.
• Conducts blood gas analysis and interprets results; educates patients and families.
• Maintains and manages respiratory equipment and cross-trains as needed.
