Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days and maintain current.
• ACLS certification within 90 days and maintain current.
• NRP certification within 90 days and maintain current.
• Basic fetal monitoring within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate within 12 months.
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificate preferred.
• STABLE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Educate and guide patient/family and other nursing staff while maintaining standards of care in the Birthplace.

Education

NRP within 90 days

Fetal monitoring basic within 60 days

AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
