Adventist Health Bakersfield is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the NICU to join our neonatal care team on a 13-week assignment in Bakersfield, California. The role focuses on high-acuity newborns requiring specialized monitoring and care.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, BLS, NRP or ARC NALS, STABLE, and Epic experience, with BSN preferred. Day shift, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, compensation $65-$70/hour, and comprehensive teamwork with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• AHA NRP or ARC NALS certification required.
• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required.
• Epic experience required.
• BSN preferred.
• Acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to newborns requiring intensive care.
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor newborns and evaluate treatment outcomes.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate families about newborn care and treatment.
