Qualifications

• Baccalauréat minimum si inscrit avant le 1/1/2024.
• Internat en diététique ou équivalent.
• Diététiste enregistré requis dans les 3 mois suivant l'embauche.

Responsibilities

• Fournit des soins nutritionnels thérapeutiques de manière sécuritaire.

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a self-motivated, high performing Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide world-class nutrition care for our inpatient population. This role is full-time Day Shift (40 hrs/week) Monday- Friday with rotating weekends. The team is ideally looking for a candidate passionate and experienced in NICU nutrition. e

Registered Dietitian Job Responsibilities:

• The Registered Dietitian provides safe and therapeutic nutritional care in a comprehensive and systematic manner.


• Provides clinical services and acts as a resource to physicians, nurses and other professional healthcare team members, to provide patients with optimum nutritional care.


• Coordinates the nutrition care plan with the physician and other healthcare providers while serving as a resource in the integration of the nutrition care plan into the comprehensive plan of care for the patient.


• Formulates an individualized nutrition plan of care based on assessment findings and interpreting trends in patient populations to achieve best practice.


• May perform additional duties as assigned.

Registered Dietitian Requirements for Consideration:

• Education: Bachelor's degree minimum if licensed before 1/1/2024; Dietitians registered after 1/1/2024 must hold a Master's Degree


• Experience: Dietetic internship or equivalent


• Certification:
  
  
  
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) required within 3 months of hire
  
  
  • Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required within 3 Months of hire
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous inpatient clinical experience


• NICU nutrition and with NICU experience
