Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with two years of direct patient care in a hospital setting.
• Completion of approved Nursing Aide or PCT training program or CNA certification.
• Experience with electronic health records and basic data entry.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and safe patient handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision, including hygiene, comfort, and daily living activities.
• Measure and report vital signs and changes in patient condition to the care team.
• Transport patients and assist with procedures and tests within unit policies.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation.
• Respond to call lights and provide emotional support to patients and families.
