Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Round Rock, TX seeks a Manager of Nursing for the NICU. This full-time, day-shift role leads a level care team in an 11-bed unit, driving nursing practice excellence and staff development.

Leadership experience preferred, with responsibility for policy, resource allocation, and continuous improvement within Women’s Services – NICU. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, RN licensure, and BLS certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Shape nursing practice within the NICU and align with organizational standards.
• Ensure staff are updated with current practice standards.
• Promote evidence-based practice and research.
• Create a compassionate environment for patients and staff.
• Lead policy development, resource allocation and improvement initiatives.
• Design educational programs and provide nursing care.
• Execute succession planning within the department.
• Develop strategies aligned with organizational priorities.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality service and professional growth.
