Job summary

Jackson North Medical Center is seeking a PRN Clinical Staff Nurse for the NICU, working nights on a per diem basis. The role emphasizes critical thinking, nursing process, and high-quality patient care within the CARE Model.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with the physician and team, documenting care plans, and ensuring HIPAA compliance while supporting staff and patient education. Prior experience in NICU and strong nursing competencies are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Florida RN license required.
• BLS/NRP certifications may be required at unit level.

Responsibilities

• Implements and coordinates the delivery of care with physicians and staff.
• Documents all pertinent information regarding nursing care and plans.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Applies unit policies, protocols, and discharge/teaching plans.
• Per forms charge nurse duties when assigned and supervises staff as needed.
