Job summary

Cross Country Healthcare is seeking an experienced RN leader to oversee the Level III NICU, directing clinical and administrative operations on site in Massachusetts. The role emphasizes strong nursing leadership, staffing, and budget oversight to ensure high-quality neonatal care.

The ideal candidate will have an RN license in MA, MSN or BSN with MSN enrollment, NICU experience, and 3+ years in a related specialty. This position is 100% on-site with Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license or willingness to obtain.
• MSN, or BSN with current enrollment in a qualified MSN program.
• NICU/neonatal nursing experience strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of related specialty experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily NICU clinical operations.
• Lead, hire, schedule, and manage nursing staff.
• Maintain appropriate staffing and patient-care standards.
• Drive quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance standards are met.
• Manage department budgets and financial operations.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary leadership.
