Job summary

Virtua Voorhees is seeking a part-time, per diem NICU RN to join our Day Shift team at 100 Bowman Drive, Voorhees, NJ. The role involves patient assessment, implementing care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Must hold a valid NJ RN license and demonstrate strong communication and leadership of care teams in a fast-paced NICU environment. Hourly rate $56.17; benefits available for eligible colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must have NJ RN License and maintain it according to state rules.
• Demonstrates nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures and standards.
• Ongoing education via journals and trainings to stay current in practice.
• Strong communication and team coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care.
• Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions.
• Manage changing situations and participate in clinical decision-making.
• Educate patient and family about disease processes and care needs.
• Coordinate care with healthcare team and delegates tasks as needed.
• Uphold safety and standard precautions in all care activities.
