Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current Nevada nursing license.
- Current BLS certificate; NRP within 6 months of hire; STABLE within 6 months of hire.
- Neonatal nursing experience preferred.
- Two years nursing experience required.
Responsibilities
- Educate and assist new mothers with physical and emotional needs during the postpartum period in the hospital setting.
- Care for the infants and educate mothers about infant care.
- Construct and implement the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill.
- Develop goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.
