Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Health Care Technician in the NICU to prepare and deliver infant feedings, manage formula room inventory, and operate feeding equipment. You will ensure donor breast milk safety and support breast milk administration within unit QA standards.

The role requires a CNA background, BLS within 30 days, and completion of Carle's HCT In Training Program, with nursing clinical experience and relevant medical training preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days; AHA.
• CNA background and CNA coursework within 24 months.
• At least one nursing clinical semester.
• Completion of Carle's HCT In Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver all infant feedings as ordered.
• Inventory and maintain stock in the infant feeding room; monitor donor breast milk safety.
• Maintain sanitation and quality assurance in feeding prep areas.
• Assist in training staff on feeding preparation and handling techniques.
• Assist with unit supplies, charts, and donning routine donor milk procedures.
