Job summary

Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT is seeking a part-time RN for per diem Labor & Delivery coverage. Must have NICU experience to support mothers during labor and postpartum care, with newborn care and safe discharge planning.

In this role, you will provide hands-on clinical care and emotional support to pregnant and postpartum patients, with nights shifts on a rotating schedule. Connecticut RN licensure and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN graduates preferred.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to pregnant, laboring or postpartum patients with hands-on and emotional support to our patients.
• Assist mothers with childbirth, newborn care, and safe discharge planning.
