Responsibilities

• Makes equipment rounds in patient care areas and ensures equipment availability.
• Initiates cleaning, disinfection and reassembly per manufacturer instructions.
• Monitors repairs and enters work orders in Meditech for Biomed.
• Tracks equipment location clearly so colleagues can read it.
• Delivers equipment and supplies to patient care areas as requested.
• Maintains NICU inventory and par levels; restocks supplies as needed.
• Cleans NICU areas and shelves, keeping decontaminated storage tidy.
• Responds to requests for equipment promptly; promotes teamwork.
• Complies with safety and department standards during shifts.
