Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a NICU Dietitian in Little Rock, AR to manage NICU nutrition support and collaborate with MDs in a Level IIIB NICU. The role requires RDN, state licensure, NICU specialty certification, and preferably 2 years NICU experience.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
  • Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
  • Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
  • Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
  • Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
  • Mentorship & Professional Development: Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable

Setting: Level IIIB NICU
Schedule: Monday-Friday, rotating weekends & holidays
Requirement: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist & advanced certification related to the NICU population
Position Details: This position will manage the nutrition support for the NICU, round daily with the MD's, support the milk lab staff with recipe development, and collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
  • NICU specialty certification required
  • Two years of work experience in the NICU preferred
