St. Luke's is seeking a capable NICU support caregiver to join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team in Boise.

The role involves direct patient care, assisting with unit operations, and Health Unit Coordinator duties within a Level IV NICU that provides 24/7 in-house Neonatology coverage. Responsibilities include caring for medically fragile newborns, monitoring infants, supporting families, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional neonatal care.

Qualificações

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited Associate or Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) program; completion of at least one clinical nursing rotation required.
• No prior healthcare experience required; prior healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform patient care activities and non-professional nursing services to support the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients.
• Assist with Health Unit Coordinator duties, including communication, documentation support, and coordination of unit activities.
• Work closely with nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary team members.

Formação académica

High school diploma or equivalent

Currently enrolled in an accredited Associate or BSN program

Completion of at least one clinical nursing rotation required
