Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC seeks a NICU-Clinical Tech to support the surgical team with OR prep, cleaning and equipment handling, and to deliver patient care.

You will assist transferring and positioning patients, obtaining supplies, and ensuring equipment is in working order as part of the NICU care team.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED and offers benefits as part of the Mission Health/HCA Healthcare system.

Responsibilities

• Expedites department function by arranging furniture and setting up rooms with equipment necessary for scheduled surgical procedures.
• Facilitates efficient care by anticipating and obtaining extra equipment needed for surgical procedures.
• Follows department procedure by cleaning rooms between cases, removing extra equipment and placing resources in appropriate storage areas.
• Preserves resources by performing preliminary, terminal and weekly/monthly cleaning per assignment.
• Supports department operation by assuring working condition of equipment.
• Assists staff by providing information regarding equipment location, needs, etc.
