Job summary

Providence is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) to lead our NICU/units during the evening shift, ensuring high-quality patient care and smooth operations. This role reports to the unit director and focuses on hiring, coaching, and coordinating clinical staff across shifts.

The ANM will uphold nursing standards, drive compliance with regulatory requirements, and collaborate with leadership to continually improve patient outcomes while maintaining staff engagement and morale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BS/BSN) required.
• Texas RN license required at hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating unit services.
• Coach, mentor, and supervise clinical and non-clinical staff across shifts.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide input for performance evaluations of staff.
