Job summary

LiRo-Hill is seeking a NICET Construction Inspector for a major infrastructure rehabilitation project in Northern New Jersey. The role involves field inspection, coordination with clients and contractors, and meticulous record-keeping.

The ideal candidate holds NICET III/IV, with NJ Turnpike Authority project experience and certifications such as NACE, ACI, TCP, or OSHA. Bridge work experience is preferred and relocation within the NY/NJ area may be required.

Qualifications

• NICET III/IV certification and construction inspection experience required.
• NACE certification and NJ Turnpike Authority project experience is a big plus.
• ACI, TCP (Rutgers) and OSHA certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

We have an immediate need for a NICET Construction Inspector for a project in Northern New Jersey.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. Responsibilities

• Responsible for construction inspection of major infrastructure rehabilitation project
• Monitor and track project schedule and budget
• Interface with clients/agencies and contractors
• Coordinate and track all project plans and drawings

Qualifications

• NICET III/IV Certifications and experience in construction inspection required
• NACE Certification and experience on projects for NJ Turnpike Authority a big plus
• ACI, TCP (Rutgers) and OSHA certifications are preferred
• Bridge experience required
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods and procedures as well NJ Turnpike Authority CapEx manager system
• Ability to maintain field and office records and perform quantity computations
• Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Collaborate with multiple team members
• Physical ability and coordination to safely maneuver around construction sites

• We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment
• Compensation: Minimum: $115,000; Maximum: $140,000
• The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidate’s qualifications and location.
