Position Title: Nibley Park Golf Course Groundskeeper- Hourly

Job Description:
Incumbent performs duties to maintain the cleanliness of golf course grounds, gardens, equipment, and buildings. Responsibilities include mowing, aerating, weeding turf, cleaning restrooms, trash pickup, leaf raking, sidewalk clearing, and debris removal. Operates various handheld and light mechanical equipment such as mowers, sweepers, blowers, etc. Performs other duties as assigned. This is unskilled maintenance work. The seasonal position lasts six months.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Experience in gardening or general maintenance work.
• Ability to operate small hand tools and gasoline-powered equipment in all weather conditions.
• Ability to perform manual labor outdoors and indoors for extended periods, including during inclement weather.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds.
• Ability to work well with coworkers, supervisors, and the public, displaying courtesy.
• Ability to understand and follow simple instructions and maintain the golf course.

Desired Qualifications:

• May require a pesticide license.
• Previous experience in golf course maintenance.
