Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Description

Pay Range: $19.04 - $25.71 / hour

Additional components of compensation may include:

  • Evening & night shift differential

Position Summary

Performs skills such as rooming patients, assisting with treatments and procedures, Phlebotomy, EKG, and monitoring, including documentation. Participates in quality improvement and educational initiatives.

Education/Training

Graduated from an accredited Associate degree or Medical Assistant program, or has at least 2 years relevant experience. Laboratory and phlebotomy training required within 30 days of hire. Drug, alcohol screening, and N95 training also required within 30 days.

Licensure/Certification

See license and certification table below. RMA, AAMA, CCMA, or NCCT certification required upon hire. Bi-annual CPR certification required. Active certification must be maintained.

Experience/Skills

At least one year of clinical experience preferred. Computer skills required. Bilingual Spanish proficiency exam must be passed.

Additional Certifications
  • Various certifications depending on hire date and clinic type, including audiometry within 30 days of hire.
