Job summary

Loon Mountain Resort is seeking a security professional to prevent theft and safeguard guests and staff. The role emphasizes uniform foot patrol of resort grounds, strong safety protections for property, and rapid incident response to ensure a secure guest experience.

The position involves investigations, reporting, and coordination with supervisors and local authorities. Strong radio communication and teamwork are essential to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for all.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide uniform foot patrol on company property and grounds
• Provide safety protection of main resort property, employees, guests
• Assist Supervisor, if needed, as a liaison between local authorities and Loon Mountain
• Assist in the investigations of accidents, injuries and suspected crimes
• Complete reports, logs and other required written documents
• Security activities, traffic control, aid to the public as required (i.e. lost keys, dead batteries, etc.)
• Operate vehicles including but not limited to cars and truck
• Contribute to Team effort by participating in job sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the Resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions
• Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by immediate supervisor
• Effectively communicate via radio
