Job summary

Loon Mountain Resort is seeking a Security Officer to patrol the resort grounds and ensure safety for guests and employees. The role involves vehicle, uniform, and foot patrols, acting as a liaison with local authorities, and assisting in investigations of incidents.

Responsibilities include completing daily reports, traffic control, and supporting team efforts to maintain cleanliness and safety across the resort. A valid driver's license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background screening.

Overview

Prevent thefts and fraud in the area of the ski resort, and to help ensure a safe and orderly environment for guests and employees. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide uniform, vehicle and foot patrol of company property and grounds.
• Provide safety protection of all company property, employees, guests.
• Serve as a liaison between local authorities and Loon Mountain.
• Assist in the investigations of accidents, injuries and suspected crimes.

Complete Daily Reports, Logs And Other Required Written Documents

• Security activities, traffic control, aid to the public as required (i.e. lost keys, dead batteries, etc.)
• Operate vehicles including but not limited to cars and trucks.
• Contribute to team effort by participating in Job Sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.
• Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid drivers license and pass a background screening.
