Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking an NGL Distribution & Marketing Intern to assist with distribution, scheduling, and analytics across the NGL business. The role provides hands-on exposure to how commercial and operations teams collaborate to move and market NGL products across the assets.

The intern will support monthly activity,Learn how distribution impacts marketing strategies and collaborate with teams across marketing, scheduling, credit, contracts, and accounting to understand transactions

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college majoring in Business, Finance or Engineering.
• Strong computer and advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Must possess a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities.
• Organize, perform, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player capable of collaborating across levels.

Responsibilities

• Support NGL Distribution team in monthly activity related to product movement, inventory and scheduling.
• Learn how distribution impacts NGL marketing strategies and revenue.
• Collaborate with marketing, scheduling, credit, contracts, and accounting to understand contract to delivery flow.
• Assist with data entry, reconciliation, and reporting for accurate trade details and invoicing.
• Help prepare weekly inventory and monthly distribution reports for management.
• Gain exposure to distribution systems such as Entero and T4 and identify process improvements.
• Review pipeline schedules and storage locations to understand revenue and cost management.
• Support compliance with company policies and contribute to improvements.
