Job summary

S.A. Comunale is seeking an Extinguisher/Kitchen Suppression Technician.

The primary function is to perform NFPA-based service, inspections and installations of portable extinguishers, kitchen extinguishing systems, and exit/emergency light inspections across multiple sites. The role supports growing the Fire Extinguisher/Kitchen Suppression Department while ensuring compliance with NFPA guidelines, meeting customer requirements, quality standards, and safety expectations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience.
• NFPA 10, 17, 17A, and 96 knowledge required.
• Able to lift at least 75 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform NFPA-based service, inspections and installations of portable extinguishers.
• Inspect kitchen extinguishing systems and exit/emergency lights.
• Schedule daily inspections and manage inventory.
