Job summary

WithumSmith+Brown, PC seeks an Audit Supervisor for the Not-for-Profit practice in Braintree, MA. You will lead planning, execution and wrap-up of audits, reviews or compilations, guiding staff and coordinating with partners to ensure client service excellence.

You bring 3+ years in public accounting, with Not-for-Profit and US GAAP experience, and strong communication skills to foster client relationships and team development. Hybrid work model offered with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA or CPA eligible.
• At least 3 years of public accounting experience, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
• Prior auditing experience with Not-For-Profit organizations desired.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP.
• Excellent client service and communication skills with ability to develop and maintain relationships.
• Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engagement team staff on planning and execution of an audit, review or compilation engagement.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement including staffing, planning, risk assessment and fieldwork.
• Provide supervision and support to engagement staff and coordinate with managers and partners.
• Collaborate on client issue resolution and advise on regulatory and accounting issues arising during the engagement.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently and monitor engagement budgets and deadlines.

In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance.
