Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science from a four-year college or University.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE accredited program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist with successful NPTE
• Board‑Certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) or completion of a residency.
• 2 years of certified athletic training/physical therapy experience in high-level football.
• Eligible for Minnesota licensure.
• CPR and First-Aid certification for professional rescuer.
• Certifications such as CSCS, PES, SCCC may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist Vikings athletic staff with injury evaluation, rehab planning, and player care.
• Deliver comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for athletes.
• Manage recovery modalities and schedule services as needed.
• Participate in fellowship curriculum and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Document care per guidelines and supervise PTA/ATC as required.
• Travel to additional locations and support (clinic and game-day rehab).
