iHealth seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for a 12–14 month Sports Physical Therapy Fellowship with the Minnesota Vikings and Twin Cities Orthopedics. The fellow works with elite athletes, participates in injury evaluations, rehab planning, and clinical care across outpatient sports clinics, with ongoing mentorship.

Role emphasizes advanced practice in sports PT, collaboration with athletic staff, and hands-on therapy in a high-performance setting.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science from a four-year college or University.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE accredited program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist with successful completion of the NPTE exam
• Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) in Sports Physical Therapy or completion of an accredited Sports Physical Therapy Residency.
• 2 years of certified athletic training/physical therapy experience working Power 4 collegiate football or in the NFL.
• Eligible for licensure to practice in the state of Minnesota.
• CPR and first-aid certification for professional rescuer.
• Certifications relevant to position/degree including but not limited to CSCS, PES, and SCCC

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Minnesota Vikings with prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injured athletes, under mentorship.
• Assist in recognition and referral of major injuries to the Director of Sports Medicine and Vikings staff.
• Assist Associate Head Athletic Trainer in patient care and logistics.
• Assist with practice coverage and field setup, and game day rehab as needed.
• Manage Recovery Room modalities and schedule services.
• Assist with Combine and non-Combine annual processes as requested.
• Routinely evaluate and treat outpatient conditions in consultation with physician.
• Collaborate with Sports Fellowship and Residency Director, physicians, managers and staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Travel to other work locations if required.
